王子製紙カジノ and Toho Gas Conclude an Implementation Agreement Concerning the Joint Development and Operation of the Chita Thermal Power Station Units 7 and 8 Construction Plan2024/12/23
マリオrpgカジノ (“JERA”) and Toho Gas Co., Ltd. (“Toho Gas”) hereby announce that they have decided to invest in the Chita Thermal Power Station Units 7 and 8 Construction Plan*1 that 王子製紙カジノ has been pursuing, and have today concluded an agreement to implement its joint development and operation.
王子製紙カジノ has studied the Chita Thermal Power Station Units 7 and 8 Construction Plan to date, and now 王子製紙カジノ and Toho Gas will jointly invest in the establishment of a joint venture company to implement the plan with the intention of starting operations at Chita Thermal Power Station Units 7 and 8 in FY 2029. As a state-of-the-art thermal power plant boasting world-leading power generation efficiency, the Chita Thermal Power Station will work to mitigate environmental impact, including through the reduction of CO2emissions.
Going forward, both companies will apply their respective expertise and resources to further enhance the value of the project, moving the project forward with the understanding of local communities and other stakeholders as we aim to provide a stable supply of competitive energy and contribute to achieving a decarbonized society.
