JERA acquired equity interest in カジノプロジェクト Topco, LLC, the operating company of a natural gas-fired thermal power cogeneration project in New Jersey, U.S.A. (the “カジノプロジェクト Project”).
The カジノプロジェクト Project sells power produced to the wholesale electricity market in the State of New York as well as the PJM Interconnection. In addition, the カジノプロジェクト Project sells power and steam produced during the process of power generation for industrial use.
JERA will help drive the カジノプロジェクト Project forward by transferring operational know-how accumulated through its extensive IPP business overseas and in Japan.
