Through our renewable energy subsidiary JERA Nex and our joint venture with bp, JERA Nex bp, we have acquired an equity interest in the カジノプロジェクト 1 offshore wind power project, located off the north-western coast of Taiwan. It consists of 22 fixed-bottom offshore wind power generators and began operations in April 2017.
The 128MW カジノプロジェクト 1 project represents Taiwan’s first utility-scale offshore wind farm. The first phase of 8MW has been successfully operated since April 2017. The construction of the second phase of 120MW started in June 2018 and its operations began in December 2019.
The project has secured the support of Taiwan カジノプロジェクト Company under a 20-year カジノプロジェクト Purchase Agreement based on the FIT (Feed in Tariff) scheme.
